In today’s episode, I want to talk to you about how to make a client STICK!
Here’s the lowdown….
What is a stick strategy?
When you sign a new client, you want them to feel amazing about what they have decided. You want them to LOVE their decision to work with you. You don’t want them to have buyer’s remorse!
So how do you ensure they ‘stick‘ with you and you can work your magic with them?
Simple – have a stick strategy!
Here are 3 examples of how you can use a stick strategy in your business.
Remember, you don’t need to do them all.
Decide what your strategy will be and here’s the punchline….stick with it! 🙂 🙂
i) Welcome Pack
This is a simple pack you can create to give your clients a feel for what working with you is like. It can include your contact details, how you’ll communicate with them (these are examples only of course – tailor for your business). You can use this welcome pack to establish boundaries.
This gives your client a sense of your professionalism and that you can be trusted (I talk a lot about trust – it’s because it’s kind of a big deal!).
ii) Welcome Video
This is a favourite of mine – record a short 30 second video to say hello and welcome! This is a great way to establish a strong rapport and connection with you. You can tell them a little about yourself or how you’ll work together. I like these to be personalized but if you’re getting too busy to do this (great quality problem to have!), record a generic one and use that.
Upload to YouTube and mark it unlisted so it’s not for the public. Or you can set it to private and add the person’s email so only they can access it.
iii) Regular Check in Email/ Video
This is a good one to keep the motivation going. Whether you’re working with someone to sort out their finances or help them with online dating, this ‘stay in touch’ method strengthens the working relationship and holds them accountable.
It could be an email or video – I know video might not be your preference!!
Hope you’ve enjoyed this episode – let me know in the comments box which stick strategy you’d like to use or make up your own one!
