Hello lovely

This is Yasmin Vorajee from Tiny Time Big Results, and today I want to talk to you about something that I know bothers a lot of business owners.

  • ‘I’m not keeping in touch with my list (email subscribers)’
  • ‘I’m not sending a weekly newsletter’
  • ‘I’m holding back from sending a newsletter’

I hear this from my clients regularly and also from people within the Tiny Time community.

One of the pillars of building a client attraction system that works in just four hours a week is focused around nurturing and the importance of nurturing. In my program Fully Booked in 4, I teach two types of nurturing; the short term nurture and the long term nurture which is typically the weekly newsletter.

The weekly newsletter is something that creates a lot of stress for people.

You have all these reasons about why you shouldn’t send a newsletter or an email to your list,

You’re worried you’ll get writer’s block or your mind will go blank and you’ll have nothing to say.

So therefore you won’t do it at all.

Unfortunately when that happens, one week turns into 6 months!

So that’s the first reason; you don’t know what to write.

Secondly, you think people are going to get annoyed with you, you’re worried they’ll think ‘she’s bothering me’.

Listen, if someone thinks that you are bothering them by sharing your goodies, then they’ll unsubscribe, it’s as simple as that.

But there are tons of people out there who want to hear from you. So, it’s more of an inner block than an actual reality that people are going to be annoyed with you.

If they don’t want to hear from you, they can click unsubscribe.

I often say, if what I share doesn’t serve you, then please don’t stay on the list. Because it’s just a waste of your time and I’m all about tiny time so I don’t want you to waste any of your time.

And the third reason is around the fear that it’s hard to be consistent. You might send one this week but nothing the next week. and you start to panic!

You’re holding back because you’re worried that you have nothing to write, that people are going to be annoyed with you, and that you’re going to find it hard to be consistent.

Let’s make this easier for you – here are my top tips for you today.

First of all, get really smart with your content creation. In the Fully Booked in 4 program, I teach you how you can do this in simple and easy ways so it’s not taking up a huge amount of your time.

Here’s an example. If you create one piece of content e.g. a video or a blog post or a podcast or maybe a social media post, you can use that as the basis of your email newsletter.

Because here’s the thing.

Even if you post it on social media, not everyone’s gonna see on social media, so use that.

So that post becomes your weekly newsletter so if you’re creating regular content, then don’t make extra work for yourself, just use that!

Repurpose with intention.

And thirdly, don’t be afraid to sell in your emails because what you don’t want to do is fall into the trap, where you’re always giving great value, but you are not actually selling.

You’re not letting people know what they can buy from you.

There are different ways you can do that and I can help you with that so if you want more information then definitely come and chat with me.

The key thing here is, people want to hear from you.

Okay? When you send out an email newsletter (and I’m not talking about big fancy banners or any of that kind of stuff like literally just a simple text email) what you’re doing is you’re building a relationship with that person.

You are nurturing them, so that when they do come to realize that they need you, they are far ,ore liely to come to you. So you stay top of mind.

You want to nurture that connection from the word go from when they signed up for your lead magnet.

And some people could have signed up for your lead magnet and not work with you for a couple years. For some people it could be a couple of weeks.

But you are nurturing, you’re staying on top of their mind and you are building that relationship, which truly is what business is all about.

So I hope this helps you today, and getting your mindset ready for keeping that constant communication going.

Weekly newsletters are so powerful in helping you to grow your business.

Remember you are here to serve, you want to work with these people. So don’t be afraid of telling them what you do, how you do it, and how they can work with you and you’ll get more conversions.

The more consistent you are and the more you show up.

Let me know what you think in the comments below I’d love to hear from you and I’ll speak to you next time.
