Hello! This is Yasmin from Tiny Time, Big Results and in today’s blog I’m going to show you two simple ways that you can bring automation into your business.
I help small business owners run a profitable business in 20 hours a week or less. A key part of this is knowing how to use your time effectively, and building leverage wherever possible.
Automation allows you to do this.
The First Automation
First of all, is to stop manually arranging times in your diary. This is a big one because I often hear clients saying, “It takes so much time, to-ing and fro-ing back and forth, does this time suit, does this time suit?”
And it can get pretty exhausting and wearing. You can cut through all of that, especially when it comes to people booking a free call with you, if that’s how you attract clients, a really simple fix for that is to use an online diary. I use a Acuity Scheduling, there are lots of other ones, if you just Google, “Online diary, scheduler” you’ll see ones including Calendly, TimeTrade (there’s loads of them). You can set it up so you can then say what times work for you and people can slot in where it makes sense.
You can also have a questionnaire and ask a few questions before someone books a call with you.
In some of the software people can pay to have a conversation with you. I helped a client of mine do this and it saved her hours, no kidding!
Even now, she talks about it and says, “It’s such a relief to have that all automated.” It is a really simple thing that you can get started with, and the software doesn’t even cost that much.
The Second Automation…
The second way that you can bring automation into your business is to make sure that you’re using an auto-responder and email sequences through something like MailChimp, Aweber or ConvertKit.
What this means is when someone gets to your landing page, they sign up for your lead magnet and now you have an email that’s ready to go to them with the lead magnet in it.
You can now have a series of emails that comes after the delivery of the lead magnet that all send automatically.
You create it once, and you’re able to use it many, many times over.
Even if you had a hundred people joining your list, every single day or every single month, they would each get this email sequence.
That’s powerful!
I have people joining my list every single day, and they all get emails from me, I don’t even pay any attention to it, because I did the work just the once, and now it runs and runs and runs.
It is so important that you have the right technology and the right software to support you in your business. Especially from a 20 hour week perspective, because this stuff saves you a ton of time and it helps you to build massive leverage as you grow your business.
If you’re on holidays – you don’t have to worry, it’s all working for you.
Why would you want to be working when you can let technology and software do some of that work for you?
These are two very simple ways that you can bring automation into your business.
My main focus is all about how you build leverage in your business through your business model, your offers, your time and your team.
