Today, I want to talk about a page on your website that you might not be fully taking advantage of.
When someone opts in for your lead magnet (your freebie/ free guide/ cheat sheet/ video series), they give you their email address and you typically would send them to a thank you page. A thank you page which says, ‘woo hoo, you’re in, and it’s winging it’s way to you’.
This thank you page is actually a massively valuable page for you. There are a couple of things that you can do on this page that will make it really powerful in terms of client attraction.
I’m just going to focus on one specific strategy for this blog because this is something that’s really easy, and you can get started on ASAP.
So, what is this magical thing?
Well, it’s about using this valuable online real estate. It’s valuable because someone really wants what you have and they’ve given you their email address.
Now, it’s your opportunity to build a connection and engage with them. This is your opportunity to say something like, “I am so glad that you’re here, that you have signed up for this free guide. It’s winging its way to your inbox.
In the meantime, come and join my free Facebook group”, or, you might have a blog post that you want them to read, BUT what makes this page really pop for the person who has landed on it, is a video that helps them to see you, hear you, and really connect with you.
That is the beauty of video because it allows a strong connection.
So, when someone lands on your opt-in page and they give you their email address, send them to a thank you page that invites them to connect with you deeper…have a two-minute video that just says “Hello, I’m so glad you’re here”, give them a call to action, what’s their next step? Is it to join your free Facebook group? Is it to book a call with you? Maybe you have a short training video that you want to put on there.
Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to utilise such a valuable page.
